This is a nonsurgical enhancement of the nose, also called non-surgical rhinoplasty (NSR). Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers can be used to camouflage a dorsal hump, add definition to the nasal tip or correct other asymmetries. Some patients are candidates for surgery, whereas others are candidates for a non-surgical rhinoplasty or liquid rhinoplasty. I perform both the surgical and the non-surgical techniques of enhancing the nose.

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring substance in our own skin with a rapid turnover rate as we also naturally have enzymes that will degrade HA. When it is used as a filler, it is modified with chemical links to prevent rapid degradation of the modified HA. Fillers also come in different firmness also known as G’. The filler I choose for treating the nose or chin will be very different from the one for lips, for example.
